Martin, born on 16 October, 1975 was an American actor from America. Her
credits include Rebecca "Becca", Daphne Blake in A Pup Named
Scooby-Doo (1988-1991), Christy Huddleston (1994-1995), Lucy Knight
(1998-2000), Samantha Kinsey on Mystery Woman TV series (2003-2007), Hailey
Dean in Hailey Dean Mystery TV series (2016-present). Martin was born in
Riverside, California, the daughter of Debbie (Jett), a kindergarten teacher,
and Doug Martin, a department retailer's buyer and executive. At seven years
old Martin started acting when her aunt, an actor Michael Landon's babysitter
gave her a role on Father Murphy's Landon-produced show. When she was 11, when
she was a participant in Young People's Week, a Bob Eubanks-hosted show of Card
Sharks. Martin was a regular participant on Valerie's Family The Hogans season
3 (1987-1988). Martin also played the voice of Daphne Blake on the animated
series A Pup Named Scooby-Doo in 1988-1991. In 1989, Martin began the role of
Rebecca "Becca" Thacher on the family drama Life Goes On, which was
broadcast on ABC for four seasons. Shelley Long starred in Troop Beverly Hills
1989, where she was Emily. Martin was also in the 1989 pilot of America's
Funniest Home Videos.
