Markie Post
Markie Post was born in Walnut Creek,
California. Her career began in film and television productions such as
"Card Sharks" (1978) or "The New Card Sharks” (1986). Later, she
produced projects such as Double Dare (1976). Also, she has appeared in TV
shows such as 1st to Die (2003) and E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra
Woman and Dyna Girl (2001). She was perhaps best known for her role as
"Christine Sullivan", the Night Court star (1984). The actress was on
more than 156 episodes of the comedy from 1984 until 1992. She was the daughter
of Marylee (Armstrong) Post, poet and noted nuclear physical scientist Richard
Freeman Post (November 14, 1918 - April 7 15th, 2015). She had two daughters
with her husband, Michael A. Ross: Katie Ross (born June 26 1987) and Daisy
Ross (born March 30 in 1990). was born in Palo Alto, California, and grew up in
Walnut Creek, California. She attended Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek,
California; she was a cheerleader. Lewis & Clark College in Portland
Oregon awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree. She was a trick roper on The
Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). Her body was cremated, and her remains
were given to her husband Michael A. Ross. She was a long-time Democrat. Markie
Post, who was three months from her 71st birthday on the 4th of November, 2021,
died on the 7th of August. She died just 27 days after Charles Robinson, her
Night Court (1984), co-star, who died on July 11, 2021. While the two shows
were completely unrelated, Night Court (1984) ended in 1992 , with her
character, Christine Sullivan, leaving for Washington DC, and Hearts Afire
(1992) was released later that year , with Post as a new character Georgie, who
coincidentally worked in Washington DC (and later moving to a town that was
smaller).
