Rose McGowan

"Rose", born September 5, 1973 is an American actress. McGowan made
her film debut in 1992 with Encino Man (1992), and was nominated for an
Independent Spirit Award nomination in 1995 for her performance in the dark comedy
The Doom Generation (1995). McGowan made her debut in the horror film Scream in
1996. Then, she appeared as the main character in Jawbreaker (1999), Devil in
the Flesh (1998), and Going All the Way (1997). In the 2000s, McGowan became
known to TV viewers for her character as Paige Matthews in The WB supernatural
drama series Charmed (2001-2006). Quentin Tarantino directed her double-feature
film Grindhouse (2006) that in which she won the Saturn Award for Best Actress
and the Scream Award to Best Scream Queen. Her debut album, Planet 9, was
released in 2018. It was followed by a new version of Planet 9 in 2020. In 2017
Time acknowledged McGowan as one of the Silence Breakers, the magazine's Person
of the Year, because she spoke out about sexual harassment and assault
specifically with regard to the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse cases as well as
the Me Too movement. Brave is her memoir. Citizen Rose was her documentary
series. Both of these were released in 2018.
