Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching (born March 28 1977) is an American actor who is known for her part as Renee Walker in the American television show 24 as well as for her voice and motion capture for the character Tess in the video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis, graduating in 1995. In her early years she participated in Irish dance, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching started her acting career through guest appearances on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, and then moved to guest starring roles on such shows as Charmed Killer Instinct Supernatural as well as Cold Case. She played the role of Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's Daytime soap opera General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. Her other theater credits include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching was also a guest on several roles on TV shows like CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli & Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. 2014 saw her becoming a regular series character on the Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching was a catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was revealed that in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us, Wersching was the voice actor as well as the mo-cap of the character Tess. Her character was teased via Geoff Keighley's Twitter account before she was finally shown in the trailer for the story that was shown on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching will play the Borg Queen in the sequel to Star Trek: Picard.
